Takeaways: consumer behavior continues to be characterized by restraint; consumers expect downloads to be free; competition for consumer's time continues to increase; Nielsen is building an ebook panel to report ebook sales and will launch soon; authors will probably disintermediate publishers and bookstores by selling ebooks direct to consumers
