Takeaways: Technology tends to destroy businesses/industries and replace them rather than making them better or just making our jobs easier. Publishers are not in the printing business; they are in the business of finding, selecting, supporting, and marketing great ideas. It takes courage and empowerment to stop doing the things that work today but will cause you to fail in the near future and start doing the things that have no ROI today but may generate substantial returns in the near future.
